David Herzog is the owner & CEO of Herzog Homes. David has spent his entire professional career in the homebuilding & land development business and is responsible for over 2,000 homes constructed and lots developed in Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, and Washington DC. Beginning in 2018 David began building in Houston Texas where he now calls home.

David has been an active member of multiple national and state industry associations and has received numerous awards and recognition including being named by the National Association of Homebuilders and Builder Magazine as America’s Best Builder. Additionally, the Better Business Bureau named the company the most ethical business employing between 100-1,000 employees in the Washington Metro area by bestowing it the coveted Torch Award.

David’s graduate education includes two Masters Degrees: an MBA and a Master of Science & Finance from Loyola College and Loyola University respectively. David was born at West Point Military Academy, New York, lived in Annapolis, Md for approximately 25 years, and currently resides in Houston, Texas. David is very happily married to Heidi, and is a proud son, brother, uncle & cat dad. And he fought a bull.
