Fleet Manager/Driver Assistant Position

Position open for full-time Fleet Manager/Driver Assistant for a small company in the construction materials supply industry on the North side of Houston. Excellent benefits, M-F – hours based on need.

Job Description

Job purpose: Logistics for material delivery for a post tension cable company. Assist Driver Manager with driver load sheets and fleet management.

Job responsibilities:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment following set policy and procedures
• Create driver load sheets daily.
• Maintain fleet records.
• Coordinate and communicate with internal departments.
• Perform all duties with necessary precaution within accepted safety practices as assigned by supervisor or manager
• Flexibility to learn all aspects of logistics and fleet management.
• Punctual and present everyday

Physical requirements:

• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 80 pounds.
• Employee regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts inside the plant and field.
• Be able to receive direct supervision and guidance

Job Requirements:

Must be proficient with Microsoft Office.

Bilingual is preferred.

No experience needed.
