Babylon JT Construction and Remodeling, LLC is looking for an Accounting Manager

Qualifications:
• Advanced education in accounting, business, or a related field
• Ability to manage multiple companies
• Strong working knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, and accounting systems
• Ability to process payroll
• Ability to timely process month-end, quarterly, and annual tax filings
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook); advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks; experience with other accounting software
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• High degree of attention to detail, accuracy, & organization
• Bilingual a Plus ➕
• Accounting Experience 5 years or higher
• Pass Drug/Background Check

Responsibilities:
• This position is responsible for providing office support, clerical, and daily accounting tasks
• You will also be responsible for auditing and researching at the transaction level to ensure our books and records are correct
• Confidentiality, efficient time management, excellent organizational skills, and attention to accuracy are essential qualifications for this position, as is the ability to communicate clearly
• Responsible for essential tasks relating to Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable as directed by the Management and in accordance with accounting policies and procedures
• Responsible for maintaining the general ledger in QuickBooks
• Maintain, reconcile, and report on petty cash, credit cards and expenses
• Coordinate timely month-end, quarterly, and annual tax filings
• Maintain an accurate and organized file system
• Study financial trends to determine future business needs
• Perform job responsibilities in an efficient and timely fashion
