We are seeking an experienced and motivated Build-On-Your-Lot Sales Professional who thrives in a relationship-driven environment and is passionate about helping clients navigate the journey from land ownership to homeownership.


Position Summary:

The Build-On-Your-Lot Sales Professional will be responsible for helping with generating new business opportunities, being a part of networking and sales related events, guiding prospective clients through the custom home building process, and serving as a trusted advisor throughout the sales journey: from the first handshake to the handing them the keys to their beautiful new home.


This individual will work closely with clients, lenders, realtors, developers, and internal teams to create an exceptional customer experience while achieving sales goals and contributing to the continued growth of RVision Homes.


The ideal candidate will have experience in custom home sales, build-on-your-lot sales, residential construction, real estate, or a related industry and possess strong communication, relationship-building, and consultative sales skills.


Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development

Generate and cultivate new sales opportunities through referrals, networking, community involvement, community and business led events, and lead follow-up

Conduct consultations with prospective clients to understand their goals, needs, budget, and vision

Guide clients through the build-on-your-lot process, including land evaluation, home selection, pricing, financing, and construction expectations

Maintain consistent communication with prospective and active clients throughout the sales process

Develop and maintain relationships with realtors, lenders, developers, and industry partners

Represent RVision Homes at model homes, community events, and other networking opportunities

Client Experience & Project Coordination

Serve as the primary point of contact during the pre-construction sales process

Collaborate with design, estimating, and construction teams to ensure a seamless client experience

Assist clients with floor plan selection, customization options, and budget considerations

Ensure accurate documentation and timely completion of sales agreements and related paperwork

Maintain as one of the primary points of contact throughout the homebuilding journey, ensuring an exceptional client experience while building long-term relationships that extend beyond project completion.

Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and sales activity within company systems

Sales Performance & Reporting

Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals

Maintain an active pipeline of prospective clients and opportunities

Track and report sales performance, lead activity, and conversion metrics

Participate in sales meetings, training opportunities, and strategic growth initiatives

Provide market feedback and competitive insights to leadership


Qualifications

Required:

Minimum 3+ years of experience in custom home sales, build-on-your-lot sales, residential construction sales, real estate, or a related field

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

Strong relationship-building and networking abilities

Ability to manage multiple clients and opportunities simultaneously

Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, and related sales tools

Preferred:

Knowledge of residential construction processes and financing

Existing relationships within the North Houston real estate and development community

Experience working with acreage communities and land acquisition processes

Familiarity with Buildertrend or similar construction management software
